Director of Golf; Head Golf Professional Position Summary Sells merchandise in the golf shop.
Records tee times, handles pro shop transactions, responsible for some tournament registration Essential Job Functions:
Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members, guests and employees.
Advises members and guests about attire, golf clubs and supplies, etc.
Arranges and displays pro shop inventory.
Records all sales transactions.
Issues receipts for greens fees and cart rentals.
Assists in packing and unpacking inventory.

Education/Certificates/Licenses/Training High School Diploma preferred, but not required.
Experience/Background/Knowledge Prior experience in retail preferred.
Knowledge of the game of golf essential.
Skills Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees and guests in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to perform basic math computations.
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, and crouch; and taste or smell.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
The golf shop attendant/merchandise assistant is responsible for the overall appearance of the golf shop and providing outstanding customer service to our members and guests.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
answering phones, booking tee times, checking in members and guests for golf, sales, month end inventory and merchandising the golf shop, assisting with receiving and displaying merchandise, taking and placing special orders and assisting with opening and closing responsibilities of the golf shop.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
