Such individuals must be self-starters who have the ability to network and recruit volunteer host families in order to place and support incoming high school foreign exchange students.

Successful Local Coordinators are motivated independent contractors who set their own hours, goals, and workload in a relentless pursuit to offer a life-changing experience to everyone involved. They also willingly strive for excellence in a unique industry promoted and regulated by the US State Department, accepting the challenge of participating in citizen diplomacy while also protecting all students by strict compliance with established DOS regulations.
