A clinic in Maine is looking for a radiologist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately three months starting in early January and ending in late March. The provider will work Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be on call one day a week from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The locum will work on aspiration/drainage, biopsy, dialysis catheter placement, epidural, steroid injection, IVC filter, Lumbar puncture and much more. The facility uses paragon and PACS EMRs and will offer training.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
